I have over 30 years of experience in South Florida helping people buy, sell, or litigate businesses or real estate.

The Law Office of Morrie I. Levine, P.A. was started by Morrie I. Levine, Esq. to assist people purchase, sell, or start a business.  A few months later, Mr. Levine was representing a client that was sued for a business transaction that fell apart.  Morrie I. Levine, Esq. is admitted to practice in Florida and New York.  He is admitted to practices before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fourth U.S. District Court of Appeal, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Middle District of Florida.  Mr. Levine also represents attorneys in both Circuit and County Court in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties as an expert witness for attorney’s fees. After law school, Mr. Levine worked for 2 1/2 years as a legal writer and editor on three different publications for the Pension and Profit-Sharing division of Prentice-Hall, Inc.  In February 1986, Mr. Levine started practicing law in South Florida.  Mr. Levine has extensive experience in both litigation and transactional work in business and real estate.  He also has represented client in the areas of entertainment law (e.g. recording companies, copyright infringement, professional boxers, boxing managers, etc.), business law litigation, general civil litigation, and probate law.  At the beginning of Mr. Levine’s practice, he represented both a number of landlords and tenants in eviction proceedings. Mr. Levine has various interests in and outside of the practice of law.  Mr. Levine is very proud of the fact that he served as President of the Stephen R. Booher American Inns of Court from 2017-2018.  Currently, Mr. Levine serves on the Board of Directors of the Justice Unit of B’nai B’rith and as a member of The Florida Bar Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee 17A.  In 2013, Mr. Levine served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of legal Aid Service of Broward County, Inc. and Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida, Inc.  Mr. Levine served for four years on the Broward County Bar Association Board of Directors (establishing the Publicity Committee and serving as Liason to the Solo/Small Law Firm Section).  Mr. Levine has also served as the Chairman of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee 17(B).  Mr. Levine was elected the first Chairman of the Gold Coast Region of the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization Adult Commission.  Mr. Levine was one of the founders and the first President of the South Florida Chapter of the Syracuse University Alumni Association.  Mr. Levine also has supported/been involved with such organizations as Broward County Humane Society, Covenant House, and the Crime Victim’s Rights Organizarion of New York. Over the years, our firm has handled hundreds of legal matters for corporate clients, fellow attorneys, and private individuals.  From establishing corporate structures, handling lawsuits, and the purchase and sale of businesses, and real estate, our team has proven we’ve got the experience, professionalism and skills clients desire and deserve.
